Rubber band votive holder follow up.......

First we soaked the votive holders in water to remove the sticky tag and gave it a over all cleaning with windex to remove any dust or dirt.

Second we arranged the rubber bands around the holder in an abstract pattern. Using 4 to 5 rubber bands all in different widths.
Next we sprayed the holders in Titanium Silver spray paint and applied 2 coats evenly. Let paint dry completely before removing rubber bands.

The finished product! Overall I was happy with the outcome and time it took to make. I had 13 of these holders to do for a wedding so creating mass quantities for cheap was helpful. Since I went with a square votive holder the rubber bands did not lay flat causing the paint to bleed under the rubber band. I touched up the lines by scraping off extra paint with a exacto blade.
